On Sabbath June 27, 2020, Pastor Fitzroy Bailey was installed as the Pastor of the Sheffield District of Churches in the parish of Westmoreland. The service was conducted by Pastor Vincent Rose, Ministerial Secretary and Human Resource Manager of the West Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Among the attendees were: Pastor Joseph Smith, Ministerial Secretary of the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, who offered the prayer of consecration. Pastor Donald Smith and wife Yvonne, outgoing Pastoral family were also present and were praised for their outstanding leadership to the district.

Pastor Fitzroy Bailey comes to West Jamaica Conference having served in the North Jamaica Conference for eighteen (18) years. He is married to Tashana Stobbs-Bailey who was also in attendance along with their three (3) children namely: Royese Bailey, Taroye Bailey and Charoya Bailey.

The tremendous support (evidenced by the attendance of his former colleagues and congregants) from the North, speaks volumes to his all-inclusive ministry.

In his address, Pastor Bailey stated that he has come to serve. He challenged the congregation to continue to be a people of light, maintaining relevance especially in times of crisis.
